of South Central Alaska, about a 7-8 hour drive from Anchorage
or a scenic 50-minute flight
The Heli skiing / Heli boarding
Despite its reputation as a Mecca for steep skiing, runs
can be found to match most ability levels. However, if it
is tree skiing you are looking for; look elsewhere, as this
is a land dominated by alpine and glacial terrain. The heli
skiing is exciting and it is hard not to feel somewhat of
a pioneer in this vast expanse of wilderness. Ocean views
and late night spring skiing are just some of the bonuses
of heli skiing and heli boarding in Alaska.
A maximum of three groups of 5 skiers/boarders and one guide
share an A-Star helicopter
