Lyngen Alps, Norway

Ski & Sail - Lyngen Alps

As soon as you step off the plane in Tromsø you immediately feel that there is something special about this place. You are met by remarkable scenery with snow covered peaks raising out of the ocean. Everyone around you seems to be here for one thing, and one thing only… To explore the outdoors. The Norwegians simply call it “Friluftsliv” which literally translates to “free air life”. It is not always easy to explain, but according to the locals it is often used to describe a way of life where you explore and appreciate what nature has to offer.

In this region of Norway, nature has provided us with an ocean and a snow-covered mountain wilderness. Here, it seems very natural to experience the concept of “Friluftsliv” by jumping on-board Firebird; a custom-built Oyster 885 equipped with all you could possibly need.

If you are looking for a unique and exclusive skiing adventure with jaw-dropping scenery, you do not want to miss this… Your Ski & Sail trip with this yacht will be an experience like no other.

S/Y Firebird

This Oyster 885 model is a floating chalet offering a spacious saloon with a 360°-panoramic view of the amazing Arctic scenery. The large cockpit can be fully enclosed and is heated during the Winter season making it possible for the guests to enjoy the sailing or your morning coffee without taking off your slippers.

There are 4 guest cabins on-board, each with its own individually controlled heating and lightning systems, en-suite bathrooms and entertainment system for those who want to kick back and relax.

The Sail locker on-board has been fitted with boot heaters and a ski rack to ensure your boots are always warm, dry and ready to go in the morning.
