Summary of Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to cancel any heli ski package at any time. A full refund will be given in this case, All rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed with a deposit. Please note that we act as an agent and that your ultimate contract is with the individual operator.
Deposits & Payments:
The space available for heli skiing is limited. We
suggest that you book early. For some destinations
(Canada & Himalayas) and in prime weeks it may
be necessary to book a year in advance. A booking
can only be confirmed with a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit
and completed booking form. Deposit amounts vary depending
on destination. Payments are accepted by bank transfer,
cheque or major credit card. Credit card payments
are subject to a 3% charge. Full payment is required
at least 95 days before departure. If payment is not
received by this time, it will be treated as a cancellation
by you. For bookings made less than 95 days prior
to departure, the full package price is due immediately.
Cancellation:
Should you or another member of your party need to
cancel your holiday you must tell us in writing. If
a confirmed reservation has to be cancelled more than
95 days before departure, Elemental Adventure will
retain the deposit. If a cancellation is made less
than 95 days before departure, the package price is
due in full. No cancellation fee has to be paid if
the traveller finds a suitable replacement. The above
policies are due to the fact that our suppliers make
large financial commitments long before your holiday
is undertaken. They are imposed on us directly by
them and are beyond our control.
Insurance:
Adequate insurance covering you specifically for heli
skiing is ESSENTIAL At a minimum we recommend your
cover includes: trip cancellation, medical, helicopter
evacuation and personal effects. Please ask for details
of our policy.
Release of liability waiver:
By registering for any heliski trip you acknowledge
the risks of mountainous areas in winter conditions.
All operators involved directly in the provision of
your heli skiing holiday including guides & pilots,
strive to minimise the risks involved. However, there
will always be some degree of inherent risk. All heli
ski participants will be required to sign a RELEASE
OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. This will be provided by
individual operations and you will not be allowed
to ski/snowboard before signing one. Sample copies
available on request.
Price Policy:
All prices in local currency are fixed; prices in
£ sterling will be adjusted to reflect the exchange
rate on the day your final invoice is sent.
Referral program:
Introduce your friends and receive a credit towards
your next heli skiing holiday. For every new skier
that books a 7 day package with Elemental Adventure,
you will receive a £100 credit. These amounts
can be used as payment towards any package offered
by Elemental Adventure.
