ABSINTHE MEGA YACHT HELI SKIING ADVENTURES, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Why Heliski Here?
This is quite possibly the ultimate luxury heli skiing adventure. Be one of the first who are lucky enough to heli ski and explore the splendours of inaccessible remote areas with all the comforts available on one of the largest and most modern mega yachts in North America. The ambience is casual but the superb service is personal and five star.
Whilst aboard the yacht, you can wallow in the outside jacuzzi and enjoy a professional massage from our on board therapist. You can also sea kayak, bathe in natural hot springs and go fishing from the yacht.
Location
One of the advantages of boat-based heli skiing is that you always have the capacity to move and take your luxury "lodge" with you. Absinthe will spend the majority of her time cruising the vast inlets of the Coast Mountains.
The Heli Skiing and Heli Boarding
With the exciting and untouched heli skiing terrain of British Columbia's Coast Mountains on your doorstep, your base on the 201-foot deluxe exploration mega yacht provides the perfect platform for heli skiing. You will discover an almost unlimited choice of runs through varied terrain - naturally open glades, trees and vast bowls surrounded by massive deep-blue glaciers. Many runs start within the high alpine glaciers ending well below the tree line. Most of the runs have a vertical drop of between 600 vertical meters (2,000 vertical feet) and 1,200 vertical meters (4,000 vertical feet) with the average being approximately 800 vertical metres and the longest 1,500 vertical meters (5,000 vertical feet).
Two or three groups of four skiers/snowboarders (plus guide) share the use of an A-Star B2 helicopter. After heli skiing, enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer and all along with the amenities of a luxury yacht. Let yourself be pampered, enjoy a relaxing massage, have a drink at the lounge and be ready for a five-star dining experience.

Without exception, heliskiing guides are seasoned professionals who have passed a series of comprehensive exams to qualify them as members of the A.C.M.G and the U.I.A.G.M., the recognised Canadian and International Mountain Guide Associations. Heli skiing guides are chosen not only for their guiding skills and qualifications, but also for their enthusiastic and outgoing nature. They are professional heli skiing guides who have passed a series of comprehensive examinations to qualify them as members of the A.C.M.G. and the U.I.A.G.M. certified guides, the recognized Canadian and International Mountain Guide Associations. They are continually balancing outstanding heli skiing with the safety and enjoyment of the entire group
Continuous audio contact between the pilot(s), the guides, the yacht and other contact stations ensure a fast response in the event of an emergency.
