Patagonian Odyssey
Available to a group of just four skiers / boarders, this is a unique opportunity to undertake a true expedition-style heli ski trip in one of the most remote and mountainous areas in the world.
The traverse starts in Bariloche and moves south to El Chalten in the Fitzroy / Cerro Tore area of Patagonia (click here to view location) (or the reverse moving north) covering some 1,400 km. With numerous opportunities for first descent on the way you will be immersed in the rich wilderness of Patagonia, stay in friendly, rustic Estancias, eat good food and drink good vino tinto.
Several jeeps/vehicles and small teams of hard working staff will accompany the group on the way moving food, equipment and fuel from one place to another, sometimes driving all night long on remote dirt roads just to be there by your arrival in the helicopter the following day. The emphasis of this trip is not just the skiing / riding but enjoying the actual travel and adventure in this wild, dramatic and untamed landscape.
