Chamonix Based Heli Skiing
Yes, heli skiing is illegal in Chamonix. BUT, being situated right on the border with Italy and Switzerland it is the perfect location to base yourself for a European heli ski adventure. Our flexible programme allows us to assess the snow and weather conditions at several different locations on any given day and make last minute decisions on where to ski or ride based on current conditions.
Why Heli Ski Here?:
- Only a one hour private transfer from Geneva airport
- Ideal for short breaks and week long stays
- Access to Chamonix's facilities, skiing & non-skiing
- Suitable for everyone - non-heliskiers, non-skiers and children
- 5-star accommodation and service
- Ski and mountaineering capital of Europe
- Massive descents, steep terrain and awesome jaw dropping scenery
- Only groups of 4 clients per helicopter
- You can still ski if weather conditions prevent you from heliskiing
- Multi destinations means conditions infrequently stops flying
- World-renowned experienced guides (it's where they're trained!)
- Heli Tarentaise Tour
Blistering long descents, jaw dropping scenery and some quite astonishing routes are what skiers and snowboarders will discover on this heli ski adventure. That combined with true 5-star luxury and service and the numerous and varied facilities that Chamonix has to offer. The other big benefits are that Chamonix is just 1 hour by private transfer from Geneva airport and Geneva is 2 hours or less from most European countries. Come and ski from 3-7 days and bring the family and friends, whether they ski or not. Whilst you're off in the helicopter the chalet staff can be ferrying your cohorts to the ski slopes, shopping or even a round of golf in early May.
Chamonix is the perfect base from which to locate the best snow conditions in the Alps on any given day. It is only twenty minutes by private luxury chauffeured vehicle to Italy or Switzerland where you'll grab your airborne ride; heliskiing is not allowed in France. Typically you will do 3 drops per day with an average vertical of up to 2000m per run. The terrain is varied from steep couloirs to wide open glacial runs and there are options to ski genuinely steep terrain if conditions permit.
For something completely different try the Heli-Tarentaise Tour - seven resorts in one day! Leave Chamonix by helicopter and fly over the Vallee Blanche to Tignes where snowmobiles take you to your first spectacular descent. Following this you will ski into Champgny, La Plagne and Bellecote, skiing the north face of the Bellecote en route to Peisey Nan Croix, LesArcs, Villaroger and finally to Argentiere where you will finish the day with a fantastic decent on Les Grands Montets. Six to nine thousand metres of vertical in one day!!
Accomodation:

The service is of the highest caliber and nothing is too much for this dedicated team of professionals.
