World-class in Whistler

Elemental Adventure •

Whistler has always had the scale and the snow record to make it a permanent feature among the world's top ski resorts, but when it came to where to stay, there was always something slightly lacking. We think Belmont Estate fills that gap rather nicely with its grandeur, style and facilities. World-class guides and a helicopter to use when then conditions are optimal enable us to get you to the right place at the right time to make this trip unforgettable.

The Ultimate Whistler Experience

Whistler has earned its rightful place as one of the world's pre-eminent resorts, its epic skiing and snowboarding showcased in countless ski and snowboard flicks, thanks to its abundant snowfall and impressive terrain. The flipside to this notoriety is the large number of visitors (and locals) vying for fresh tracks or a drink at the bar, especially at weekends and during holidays.

Those fortunate enough to have the means can have the best of both worlds - the privacy of a chalet with every facility you would wish for, world-class guides to seek out the best untracked snow and a helicopter on hand to take you far from the crowds.

Belmont Estate

Set in the forest of the exclusive Stonebridge enclave with fabulous views across the valley to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, Belmont Estate is a rarity in North America - an incredible chalet, tastefully decorated (not a moose head in sight) and equipped with every conceivable facility. It sleeps 10-15 people in extreme comfort. There are 5 bedrooms in the main chalet of which 2 master suites, and a further 3 bedrooms in the adjacent Guest House.

The staff of chef, concierge, host and housekeeper are personally selected by the owner to provide immaculate service that is in keeping with the property.

Facilities inlclude:

  • Helipad
  • 45 foot swimming pool
  • Outdoor hot tub
  • Games room with table football, pool table and table tennis
  • Sauna
  • Workout room

Aligning the Stars for Unforgettable Skiing and Snowboarding

As every fanatical skier and snowboarder knows, many stars have to align to create a perfect powder day. We want a deep snowpack, but we want it to be both stable and light. We want blue skies, but cold enough temps to preserve the snow, we want terrain to thrill us but not terrify us and we want good friends around us, but not too many of them. This combination of factors is so elusive that the really special days become highlights of our entire lives that we never forget.

Imagine then, having privileged access to the world's best ski area with local guides to take you into the backcountry to show you their favourite secret spots, and a helicopter standing by to explore higher and further when conditions warrant it.

We tailor the skiing programme to meet your needs, using helicopters or Whistler's extensive lift system (just a short drive in the chauffeured car) to do everything from resort skiing to ski touring and as much heli-assistance as you want.

A more distant, end of the earth type place would be hard to imagine and for the past four years I had dreamed of skiing these gigantic volcanoes that rise so abruptly from the mythical sounding, Sea of Okhotsk.

This is not your regular Canadian heli-skiing. This is big wild northern British Columbia and compared to southern BC with all of its heli-ski operations sandwiched together; it’s like a different country.
